The Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening is responsible for the oversight, coordination and implementation of a number of Government and Donor funded projects and Programmes that aim to enhance the ability of Provincial Governments to be more effective and efficient in the way it delivers services and that deal with social issues at the provincial level. The outcomes of these projects and programmes are constantly monitored and their performance evaluated by relevant Project Management Units (PMU) together with the Provincial Governance and Projects Divisions within the Ministry of Provincial Governments and with relevant external parties.
