The New Provincial Assembly Recreational Hall Project was just about to complete. It was amongst nineteen- (19) PCDF and SIG funded projects approved for 2018/19FY. The project structural design and Bill of Quantities was contracted and completed in early 2016 and in the following year 2017, has gone thru the advert and was recommended for an award to the Twin Brothers Construction.
The project was funded under the Provincial Capacity Development Fund, a program under the SIG thru the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening.
Construction begun in January after a contractual agreement was signed on the 15th day of January 2018 for a total sum of $300,000.00.
The project was amongst the top priority programmes of the Central Provincial Assembly and it is the desire of the government that it is completed and delivered as quickly as possible hence to fulfil and satisfy its intended objective. It is expected to be delivered by 30th November 2018.
